With the Shoushou Holder you’ll never lose the most precious items of your beloved child again. The Shoushou Holder allows you to keep your childs favorite items always safe and nearby.
Shoushou comes from the French word 'Chouchou', meaning 'my favourite'. It is also my nickname I call my darling son, Lionel.
Naturally, I knew it would be the perfect name for the company as children are always our ‘Chouchou’. My aim is to make family life cozier and less stressful through innovative ideas and inventions. My intent is to produce the Shoushou Holder as well as future products under the awareness of ecological choices of material of the product, the packaging and production methods. All materials used for the Shoushou Holder and for future products are and will be food safe and have the Oeko-Tex Standard. The designing and the unique patterns have the intent of emotional wellness of our children and, you, as parents.
The long term goal of Shoushou Kids is to find alternative solutions to be able to quit all plastic elements for good.
As a parent we face everyday, even every minute, a new challenge. The problem is that we’re not always 100% prepared for it. Luckily, parenthood has taught us to be resourceful and come up with quick temporary solutions. I get it. I’ve been there. I’ve felt the stress and the emotional rollercoaster we go through with our children. And that’s why I started Shoushou Kids in order to provide well-thought solutions before the challenges even show up, allowing you to have more happy moments together with your child.
The first product I developed is called the Shoushou Holder.
The Shoushou Holder is designed to:
Secure your child’s beloved items whenever you are on the go.
Avoid any distressful experiences for the child and yourself when losing their favorite items (such as a cuddly toy, safety blanket, a small toy or a child-sized water bottle).
Save you, as a parent, money because you don’t have to repurchase anything which Mother Earth will be thankful for.
Easily adjust and detach with just one hand, making it ideal and easy for all sorts of situations.
Secure one end of the holder to strollers, car seats, airplane seat belts and shopping carts. And with the other end to hold your child’s favorite items.
Use also at home, on high chairs, baby activity trapez, as a mobile on the maxi cozy or hang it next to the house door, so you know everything important is at the same place and you are always ready to go.
Have a name tag where you can write in your name & phone number in case it happens to be misplaced.
The Shoushou Holder is hand-made in Switzerland, with food safe and ecological materials ordered in Switzerland. The fabric has the Oeko-Tex standard, the wooden ring comes from sustainable forestry and the few plastic elements are also food safe. Hopefully we can find a solution in the near future to exchange the plastic elements by organic materials.
One Shoushou Holder package contains:

- 1 x Additional Top Attachment
The 2 top attachments are intended for one strapped onto the stroller and the 2nd one strapped onto the child’s car seat, where they both can always be left attached. Thus the switch of the Shoushou Holder from stroller to car seat is very simple to use and readily available. The best feature about this, is that it allows you to carry your child in one hand while the other free hand is used to attach or detach the Shoushou Holder.

My name is Yasmine Ghoraschi, the founder of Shoushou Kids and loving mother to Lionel. Before I became pregnant, my life wasn’t where I had imagined it to be. I was lost and in need of guidance. One thing I knew deep down was that I always wanted to make a difference in the world and live this life for a good cause. Something that would allow me to be my own boss and make changes that I truly believe in. But what will give me that fulfillment? How and Where would I start!?
And then my sweet inspiration, Lionel, was born. My life completely changed. Being his mother inspires me everyday with new experiences and ideas. It’s said “Necessity is the mother of invention” and from first-hand experience that is 100% true to me. Motherhood has shown me many challenges, given me strength and provided me the motivation to always find a solution.
Once upon a time in Berlin in 2014…
One day when my son, back then 1.5 years old, and I just reached home, after having spent the whole day outside on different playgrounds, being hungry and exhausted, I realized that his favorite cuddly toy “doudou” was missing. It was a disaster. Without his doudou he could not fall asleep. Suddenly it started to rain heavily. I still decided to go back the ways and places we have been that day, to look for his doudou. So after a while, myself being soaked, we got finally home. I guess you can imagine what the night was like. My son had the emotional stress of not being able to fall asleep because of his lost doudou and me being worried where to find the exact same cuddly toy. Of course I was also emotional about the situation, because it was one of his first gifts we received from friends.
Since I found nothing on the market that could avoid losing a child’s favorite cuddly toy, I invented the Shoushou Holder, because I wanted to prevent other parents and their small children to go through the same situation my son and I have been through.
